What is real? What actually happened to Nancy Kerrigan? Who was guilty? Those questions are central but unsure in I, TONYA, an unconventional biopic of figure skater Tonya Harding (Margot Robbie). We see a young Tonya, a girl from a trailer park, try to find her place in the snobbish world of figure skating, we see Tonya being abused by her mother (Allison Janney in an Oscar-winning role) and husband and we see what really (?) happened with that one disqualifying incident.
